We carefully select our kiln dried Canadian Maple one board at a time. We look for tight and straight grain patterns as well as specific dimensions in order to maximize the usable material and minimize the waste. Once the wood has been processed, cutting boards are laid out with a front and back board chosen to create unique and aesthetically pleasing boards. It is because of this conscious selection process throughout the construction that our boards are not only beautiful, but durable enough to last a lifetime.
Materials.
Board: Kiln Dried 100% Canadian Maple.
Adhesive: ANSI/HPVA Type I water-resistant and FDA approved for indirect food contact.
Feet: Shore 30 A Rubber feet provide a sturdy non slip base.
Finish: DWR Microporous, breathable Hardwax-oil finish which does not crack, peel or flake
